Rope testing
Teufelberger-Redaelli and Raidyn - A shared bet that is reshaping intelligent monitoring.

From shared vision to deployment: Teufelberger-Redaelli and Raidyn bring together rope expertise and intelligent vision monitoring.
The creation of AIM — the Alliance for Intelligent Rope Monitoring — started from a simple conviction: the future of rope inspection would not be built by one company working alone, but by combining the right expertise around the same goal.
Raidyn brought advanced software skills, AI, computer vision, and physics-based analysis. Teufelberger-Redaelli brought deep knowledge of rope technology, manufacturing, rope behavior, and field realities, AMC Instruments and Pedrics brought years of experience in magnetic rope testing - the current state of the art or rope monitoring. Together, this created a stronger path forward than either side could have pursued independently.
From the beginning, Teufelberger-Redaelli showed the foresight to believe in this approach. Rather than limiting innovation to traditional boundaries, they recognized the value of combining industrial rope expertise with a new generation of intelligent monitoring technologies. That decision laid the foundation for a collaboration that quickly moved from concept to testing, integration, and validation in both laboratory and real operating conditions.
"We believed in Raidyn from the start - and we were right. This is a game changer in rope monitoring and inspection."
Maurizio Meleddu, CTO - Teufelberger-Redaelli
Through this joint effort, Raidyn developed the AURA vision platform for automated geometrical and surface inspection, designed to work in combination with established magnetic rope testing technologies. The result was not just a new device, but a new inspection concept: one that combines internal and external rope assessment in a single, more complete monitoring approach.
That early bet is now paying off. Following the first test campaigns and field validations, the collaboration has evolved into the deployment of multiple systems under the AIM identity. What started as a technical vision has become a concrete and growing reality, built on the belief that the best innovation happens when complementary expertise is brought together around a common industrial purpose.
“Raidyn has been the perfect partner in developing the new monitoring tool. Their highly skilled team, fast execution, and constant availability made collaboration smooth and extremely efficient.”
M. Najih Amin, R&D Team leader - Teufelberger-Redaelli
